County Judge-Donald R. Pozzi
The County Judge is elected at-large on a county-wide basis. The election is held during the same year as the gubernatorial election. The current term of office ends December 31, 2014.

The County Commissioners are elected from an area of the county comprising a commissioner’s precinct. The boundaries of the commissioner’s precinct are re-established every ten years after the U.S. Census. Each commissioner’s precinct has approximately equal populations when the boundaries are determined. Commissioners 1 & 3 are elected during the same year as the presidential election. Their current term of office ends December 31, 2012. Commissioners 2 & 4 are elected during the year of the gubernatorial election. Their current term of office ends December 31, 2014

Judge, County Court at Law #1-Laura A. Weiser
The Judge, County Court at Law #1 is elected at-large on a county-wide basis. The judge presides over cases involving civil, criminal, juvenile and probate jurisdiction. The election is held during the same year as the gubernatorial election. The current term of office ends December 31, 2014.

County Clerk-Robert S. Cortez
The County Clerk is elected at-large on a county-wide basis. The clerk serves ex-officio on commissioners’ court, is the clerk of the court for the two County Court’s at Law, the Juvenile Court System and is the recorder of official records for the county. The election is held during the same year as the gubernatorial election. The current term of office ends December 31, 2014.

The County Treasurer is elected at-large on a county-wide basis. The election is held during the same year as the gubernatorial election. The current term of office ends December 31, 2014.
Sheriff-T. Michael O’Connor
The County Sheriff is elected at-large on a county-wide basis. The election is held every four years during the same year as the presidential election. The current term of office ends December 31, 2012.

Community Supervision and Corrections Department-Diedra Gunkel
The Community Supervision and Corrections Department manages adult probation for the counties of Calhoun, Dewitt, Goliad, Jackson, Refugio, and Victoria. It is a director appointed position.
